About The Position

The Communications and Events Intern learns through immersion with Graco’s communications, brand, and events team, helping deliver engaging experiences for employees and external audiences. The role provides hands-on exposure to internal communications, brand campaigns, and event support. Working as a shared resource for the Senior Manager, Internal Communications and the Global Brand Manager, the intern assists with content creation, logistics coordination, and brand-aligned storytelling across multiple channels during the summer. The internship concludes with a presentation of project work and findings to the Leadership Team.

Requirements

Be a junior pursuing a degree in Communications or Business at an accredited university.
Have strong writing and organizational skills.
Be interested in communications, branding, event planning, and execution.
Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Co-Pilot.
Be able to work independently on assigned projects.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent and unrestricted basis; temporary employment authorization and immigration sponsorship are not eligible.

Responsibilities

Draft employee messages and intranet content to support internal communications.
Support and maintain digital employee communication channels.
Help coordinate logistics and communications for employee and retiree events.
Support the rollout of updated brand guidelines and the content guide, as well as other related brand projects.
Benchmark corporate social media practices and identify opportunities to strengthen the brand and executive presence.
Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent and timely messaging.
Present findings and project work to the Leadership Team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
