About The Position

Develop clear, useful communications that help SLTT audiences understand cybersecurity and physical security risks and take practical action. You will support CISA-branded outreach, reusable training materials, and campaigns that share successful resilience practices.

Requirements

• Strong writing, editing, visual storytelling, and stakeholder coordination skills
• Ability to create accessible documents and presentations
• Ability to support multimedia content

Nice To Haves

• 3–5 years of relevant communications, public relations, content development, or public outreach experience
• Experience explaining technical topics to public-sector audiences

Responsibilities

• Write and edit fact sheets, articles, presentations, invitations, social media content, and other outreach materials for SLTT audiences.
• Develop reusable toolkit templates, graphics, and short video content that partners can adapt to support awareness and training.
• Translate research findings and technical information into accurate, accessible language for nontechnical audiences.
• Support event communications and Resilience Challenge storytelling, coordinating stakeholder clearance and Government review before release.
• Prepare accessible electronic content and coordinate Section 508 testing, corrections, and documentation.
