About The Position

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is looking for a creative and highly organized Digital Communications and Content Specialist to join their team in Virginia Beach. This role involves sharing stories, ministry impact, and engagement opportunities for CBN’s Middle East Ministries. The specialist will transform real-life ministry stories into compelling content for donors, partners, and global audiences through various digital channels including email campaigns, website content, podcast episodes, landing pages, virtual events, and digital storytelling. This position supports CBN’s mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements

• Experience in digital communications, content development, and content management.
• Experience in website content management systems and email marketing platforms.
• Proficiency with basic graphic design tools and the ability to create and edit digital assets, including thumbnails and other visual content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ministry objectives to a variety of audiences.
• Strong storytelling, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience with podcast production, publishing, and distribution platforms.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Asana, Mailchimp, and other relevant digital communication platforms and tools.
• Ability to analyze communication metrics and use data to improve audience engagement and communication effectiveness.
• Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential donor and ministry information and make sound decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain professional rapport with all levels of management, staff, ministry partners, and the public.
• Flexibility with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as an effective member of a team.
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours and respond to unexpected work demands as needed.
• Ability to travel as needed.
