As a Communications Advisor within PNC's Corporate Communications organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Denver, CO or Phoenix, AZ. As a Communications Advisor supporting Community Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, monitoring, and engagement of PNC’s owned social media properties. This role serves as a frontline defense for reputational risk by identifying, assessing, and escalating emerging issues, while partnering closely with Customer Care and Marketing to ensure consistent, policy-aligned engagement. Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Independently designs, develops, produces and consults on a variety of internal and external communications.
  • Implements strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Consults on a variety of internal and external communications.
  • Plans, researches, and develops content for increasingly complex communications initiatives.
  • Identifies issues and opportunities, helps to contribute on all aspects of communication with the organization, and engages other parts of the organization to help ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message.
  • Proactively collects and synthesizes data in order to identify trends.
  • Readily identifies tactical and strategic implications.
  • Actively participates on cross-functional teams, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.
  • Implements and oversees activities including approval requirements, coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners.
  • Helps partner with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.
