You understand how to deliver engaging content across platforms while building meaningful connections with audiences. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where timely, accurate and customer-focused communication is critical. You’re equally comfortable developing social media strategies as you are managing day-to-day channel activity – including monitoring, responding, and thoughtfully engaging across our social channels. In this role, you will oversee the development, and optimization of social media strategies that support and advance broader communications and business priorities. You will act as a key advisor on social media best practices, community management, and performance insights, while supporting integrated digital communications across web and email channel.

Requirements

  • Bachelors' Degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline plus 4-7 years related experience, with a focus in social media or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience working in digital marketing/communications
  • Ability to manage corporate social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube), including monitoring, writing, responding to customer/key stakeholders inquiries, promotional campaign development and develop reporting platforms
  • An incredibly creative but strategic thinker
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and manage deadlines under pressure, ambiguity and change
  • Strong understanding of search engine optimization best practices to help drive content performance
  • Works well with others by creating strong partnerships through collaboration, honest debate and trust

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of social media strategies that support corporate initiatives, campaigns, and real-time communications needs.
  • Critically monitor channel strategy, identifying opportunities to test emerging formats and leverage trends.
  • Own community management across corporate social media channels, including monitoring and responses. Identify emerging themes, sentiment shifts and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Support social media communications during high-impact events (e.g. outages, service disruptions) ensuring a timely, coordinated and accurate response.
  • Analyze performance metrics and translate findings into actionable insights to optimize content, engagement and overall channel performance.
  • Leverage social listening to identify emerging issues and customer needs and guide proactive response strategies.
  • Collaborate with a wide range of internal team members, partners and stakeholders ensuring integrated messaging across social, web, email and other external channels.
  • Uphold social media governance, guidelines, and best practices to ensure alignment with brand and corporate standards.
