About The Position

Join the Apple Services team, a global leader in content and experiences across music, entertainment, games, news, fitness, podcasts, books, and audiobooks. Our team supports learning, connection, and community within the organization through best-in-class experiences, communication, and programs. The Services Communications team specifically creates and curates content and experiences that inform, inspire, build connection, and link our people to our business, culture, and each other. We are seeking a collaborative, creative, and results-driven Communication Strategist to develop and implement impactful global communication strategies and employee campaigns. The ideal candidate is high-energy, strategic, proactive, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. This role requires a passion for creating a positive employee experience, with expertise in strategic approach, problem framing, and solution-oriented thinking. Responsibilities include writing, editing, critical/creative thinking, storytelling, Keynote design, and project management. You will craft messaging across various channels like email, Slack, video, internal websites, and employee events. Success hinges on building strong internal partnerships and balancing strategy with execution. A background in internal and executive communication, along with experience in employee engagement initiatives, is essential. Experience in event, content, video production, and crisis communication is a plus.

Requirements

  • At least 6 to 8+ years in employee or internal communications.
  • 5+ years working with senior executives.
  • Experience drafting detailed and comprehensive strategic briefs.
  • Experience executing successful, complex communication strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to draft content and messaging for a range of internal communication channels, including employee emails, newsletters, speaker series, video, Keynote presentations, etc.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with varying deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule.
  • Embrace change and ambiguity enthusiastically.
  • Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.
  • Ability to be onsite; this role is an in-person, onsite position.
  • Available to work some nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, and support innovative internal communication campaigns and programs designed to keep Services employees informed, connected, inspired, and engaged.
  • Lead projects from concept to realization, partnering closely with leaders, People Business Partners, business leads, internal partners, and various other teams.
  • Build a strategic brief for a Town Hall meeting.
  • Craft a story and messaging for a leadership presentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to craft a meaningful speaker session.
  • Draft content for a monthly newsletter.
  • Build plans for organizational announcements.
  • Craft messaging and communication across a variety of channels, including email, Slack, video, internal website, employee communication events, and more.
  • Build strong partnerships with internal partners.
  • Strike the right balance between strategy and execution.
