About The Position

We are seeking a Communication Center Representative to support paging, messaging and scheduling, and appointment services for UW Health. Provide remarkable customer service to UW Health staff, physicians, and patients. Confirm and cancel appointments on nights, weekends and holidays for specifically designated clinics. Take various calls ranging from connecting callers to inpatient rooms, notifying an on-call physician about an organ offer, and executing emergency plans.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field (2 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field strongly Preferred
  • Experience in a large automated call service center and familiarity with at least one form of call processing software Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a medical, call center, or customer service environment Preferred
