About The Role We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with data and numbers. This role is integral to ensure accurate and timely commission processing for HUB Financial and its broker network. You will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of commission payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • College Diploma or other post-secondary education or equivalency
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, & Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage data and tasks efficiently.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience or prior insurance commission processing experience is an asset
  • Experience with WealthServ is an asset
  • Accounting or financial background is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Review commission statements/reports and ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions to HUB Financial and its brokers.
  • Process first-year and renewal commissions accurately within back-office systems.
  • Investigate and reconcile commissions paid incorrectly by insurance companies and ensure that necessary corrections are made in a timely manner.
  • Identify, report, and correct unexplained activity in broker accounts, including system or posting errors.
  • Review and investigate chargebacks and broker debt as required.
  • Collaborate with insurance companies and internal HUB teams to resolve commission-related discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Assist with commission inquiries received through the Commissions mailbox.
  • Support additional tasks and participate in projects as assigned.
