About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is looking for a Full-Time Commis I to join our Cafe Boulud team, who shares our passion for food and cooking and is willing to learn from and contribute to our culinary team. The Commis I works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product.

Requirements

• Ability to read and follow menus and recipes.
• Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Trained and certified in safe food handling.
• Proficient knife skills.
• Continuous standing for up to 8 hrs per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing personality.
• Can-do approach to any task.
• Legal work authorization in Canada.

Nice To Haves

• At minimum 2 years previous Kitchen/Cook experience in a fast paced food and beverage operation, ideally with breakfast operation experience.
• Exceptional communication skills, command of English language.
• Additional language a definite asset for career growth.
• A culinary training degree is preferred.
