About The Position

This role is for a Full Time Pastry Commis 2 at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Whistler. The position involves supporting the preparation and execution of high-quality pastries and desserts in a collaborative kitchen environment. The role emphasizes precision, consistency, and care, and is suitable for individuals who take pride in their craft, perform well in a fast-paced setting, and are motivated to develop their skills within a luxury hospitality environment. Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment specializing in pastries
  • Culinary education is preferred
  • Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven setting with flexible scheduling
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Must be able to obtain a Food Safe certificate
  • Valid work authorization for Canada

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation and execution of desserts and pastries in line with Four Seasons standards
  • Maintain Food quality, cleanliness and safety standards within your station
  • Work closely with chefs and team members to ensure smooth, timely service
