Responsibilities

Greets customers as they enter the location.
Accepts money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased; validates checks.
Assists customers with questions or price discrepancies.
Ensures accurate transactions by balancing cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift.
Processes returns and exchanges according to policy.
Identifies prices of products and services and tabulates bills with available equipment.
Assists customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information.
Bags, boxes, and wraps purchased items.
Restocks drinks, snacks, and other products as needed.
Restocks cafeteria items including but not limited to napkins, condiments, utensils, etc.
Cleans and sanitizes all cafeteria surfaces at the beginning and end of service, as well as throughout service as needed
Takes out trash and recycling throughout service and at the end of the day.
Vacuums, sweeps, and mops cafeteria at the beginning and end of daily service
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ensures that food is prepared correctly and to customer’s satisfaction; returns incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen.
Works as a busser as needed.
Assists with other restaurant tasks.
