About The Position

Complex and specialized technical work as a paraprofessional, duties involve administering a multi-faceted phase of an agency program including technical and clerical processes. Requires extreme knowledge of an agency program. Work is performed under the general direction of an administrative superior, but with need for significant interaction with other divisions, department staff, foreign jurisdictions, federal and other agencies.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent AND four (4) or more years of experience in a customer service environment that included: use of computer programs; clerical and data entry work; applying and explaining policies/procedures or rules/regulations; and using math to complete financial transactions.
• Two (2) years or more of experience processing registration transactions in the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Agree to be finger printed and pass a background investigation.
• Applicant must agree to be finger printed and pass a background investigation to be eligible for this position.
• The background investigation may include criminal, financial and traffic record checks.

Responsibilities
