Commercial Truck Driving Adjunct Instructor (VLD)
About The Position
Under guidance of the CTD program coordinator, trains and assists students on both the driving range and over the road in developing the skills necessary to obtain a Class A CDL to include preparing and maintaining all required documentation; and ensuring safety procedures are followed to maintain the safety of students and driving public at all times. Course availability may vary each term. A physical exam and a drug screen are required as part of the mandatory background check process. Requirements
- A technical certificate in the teaching discipline and a current/valid commercial truck driver’s license, or a current/valid commercial truck driver’s license with three years experience in field and with verifiable academic credentials, qualifications, or competencies appropriate for teaching the course content.
- Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
- Must pass a physical exam and a drug screen as part of the mandatory background check process.
