About The Position

Cennox is seeking an enthusiastic Commercial Alarm Bank Technician for its expanding Electronic Security division in the Richmond/Norfolk area. The company is willing to train a motivated candidate and welcomes security professionals with strong customer service skills who are prepared to work in a dynamic team environment and cross-train to support banking and retail lines of business. Use of a personal vehicle is required. The role performs scheduled inspections, surveys, and related project work, as well as scheduled cleaning, signage updates, minor refurbishments, and other work on bank equipment, including Automated Teller Machines. The position offers paid training, opportunities to learn new skills, travel, and career growth.

Requirements

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, comfort with technology, and eagerness to learn new skills.
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently, reliably meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
Good communication and customer service skills, including the ability to interpret and execute written instructions.
Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing.
Reliable, insured personal vehicle; personal vehicle use is required.
Ability to lift or move 50 or more pounds; stand, climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather and to sit or drive for extensive daily travel.
Good hand-eye coordination and sharp eyesight.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled inspections and surveys.
Perform related project work.
Clean bank equipment on a scheduled basis.
Update signage and perform minor refurbishments on bank equipment, including Automated Teller Machines.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively.
Be willing to cross-train to support banking and retail lines of business.
