Equipment Inspector

About The Position
PAM Transport is hiring an Equipment Inspector to inspect trucks and trailers and help ensure equipment is safe and compliant for operation. This role is an opportunity to learn the transportation operation and start or grow a career in the industry. The schedule is Sunday through Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pay is $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic trailer knowledge or experience.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect trailers entering and exiting the yard.
- Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions.
- Inspect trailers arriving from Mexico for damage and mechanical defects.
- Ensure the timely and authorized entrance and departure of equipment.
