About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Commercial Shingle Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems while working safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to work at heights, use roofing tools and equipment, and follow all company and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous commercial roofing experience preferred.
- Experience with asphalt shingle installation and repair.
- Ability to read tape measures and follow job specifications.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly.
- Knowledge of roofing safety practices and fall protection systems.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license.
- Frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, and standing.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated surfaces.
- Ability to lift and carry roofing materials and equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in hot, cold, and varying weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace commercial shingle roofing systems.
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Measure, cut, and install shingles, underlayment, flashing, and related roofing components.
- Inspect roofs for damage, leaks, and structural concerns.
- Perform roof maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with crew members, supervisors, and project managers.
