About The Position

This critical role, tailored to high revenue locations, underscores the importance of accountability and excellence due to the significant financial implications of managing key, highly complex client accounts. The Commercial Services Specialist II provides comprehensive support to numerous account holders, proactively identifying enhancement opportunities, and running and analyzing reports for trends and compliance. This position offers comprehensive, direct support and communication to numerous account holders, understanding their requirements and challenges while communicating potential issues. In coordination with national account representatives, the specialist follows account-specific procedures to prepare and audit sale vehicle run processes including run order, scheduling, providing notice to customer account, vehicle repairs, accurate charge posting (pre-sale and limited post-sale), reporting, and invoicing. The role is accountable to monitor vehicle sales processes, communication with stakeholders, and accuracy to ensure an overall positive client experience. The specialist develops positive relationships with clients, seeking to understand their vehicle requirements and helping them understand auction processes, vehicle availability, and processes for sale, preparation, and delivery. The role involves examining vehicles within the sales lineup, utilizing different programs to verify that inventory meets necessary specifications, identifying any missing vehicles, and collaborating with account representatives to ensure that vehicles are prepared for sale, complete with suitable imaging and announcements. The specialist also coordinates vehicle transportation, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of emerging issues. Additionally, the role involves reviewing Condition Reports to capture required announcements (Structural, Flood, True Miles Unknown, AS IS – NAAA guidelines for miles and age), Branded Title, Manufacturer’s Buyback, etc., and ensuring file jackets for client audits include proper documentation and invoicing. The Commercial Services Specialist II serves as a liaison between clients and all auction departments, collaborates with the Accounts Receivable department to post accurate charges, process and send invoices, and actively pursue collections. The role requires demonstrating effective prioritization skills by understanding the role of assigned tasks within the comprehensive lifecycle of auctioned cars, and professionalism and sincere appreciation for the business relationships that have been established amongst the client and Manheim. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be receptive to change, and multitask is essential, as is a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
  • Data entry experience required.
  • Strong computer skills and effective communication and organization skills required.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service essential.
  • Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities
