About The Position

This role serves as the primary point of contact for resolving client issues for accounts ranging from simple to highly complex. The Commercial Services Specialist II collaborates with the national sales team, physical site representatives, corporate Commercial Services post-sale team, Arbitrators, and various stakeholders. This position assists with customer care issues and responds to dealer and commercial client inquiries, problems, or concerns in a professional manner, escalating as necessary. The specialist develops positive relationships with assigned clients, seeking to understand their vehicle requirements and helping them understand auction processes, vehicle availability, and processes for sale, preparation, and delivery. In coordination with the national account representative, this role follows account-specific procedures to prepare and audit the sale vehicle run process, including managing run order, scheduling, providing notice to the customer account, vehicle repairs, accurate charge posting (pre-sale and limited post-sale), reporting, and invoicing. The specialist monitors vehicle sales processes and liaises with auctioneers, department managers, national commercial sales teams, mechanic shops, and operations to ensure efficient vehicle preparation and auction block representation. This role examines vehicles within the sales lineup, utilizing Auto Check to verify inventory meets necessary specifications, identifying any missing vehicles, and collaborating with account representatives to ensure vehicles are prepared for sale. The specialist coordinates vehicle transportation, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of emerging issues. They review Condition Reports to capture required announcements and coordinate redemptions, involving scheduling with consumers for vehicle pickup, facilitating payments, and ensuring proper documentation. This position also serves as a liaison between clients and the Title Shared Services Center (TSSC) to ensure timely receipt of negotiable titles and collaborates with Accounts Receivable to post accurate charges, process invoices, and pursue collections. The role demonstrates effective prioritization skills and professionalism in business relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field OR any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline; OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Strong verbal and written skills

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test (marijuana not included for this position, but it is a drug-free workplace)
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

  • Monitor vehicle sales processes and liaise with auctioneers, department managers, and other teams to ensure efficient vehicle preparation and auction block representation.
  • Examine vehicles within the sales lineup to verify inventory specifications and collaborate with account representatives to ensure vehicles are prepared for sale.
  • Coordinate vehicle transportation, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of issues.
  • Review Condition Reports to capture required announcements.
  • Educate and upsell national clients on complementary company products and services.
  • Work with other Manheim departments regarding post-sale activities, AR, and other matters.
  • Generate file jackets for client audits containing condition reports and all invoices.
  • Efficiently coordinate redemptions, including scheduling with consumers for vehicle pickup, facilitating payments, and ensuring proper documentation.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and the Title Shared Services Center (TSSC) to ensure timely receipt of negotiable titles.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable department to post accurate charges, process and send invoices, and actively pursue collections.
  • Demonstrate effective prioritization skills and professionalism in business relationships.
