About The Position

The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The technician installs and maintains tires and wheels, performs repairs, rotations, and inflation, attaches and rebalances wheels, and works with tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS). The role also includes washing tires and wheels, testing and installing batteries, maintaining and using equipment, assisting other employees, test driving vehicles, and operating service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The technician promotes store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. On-the-job training is available.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain commercial tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires; attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS and relearn or calibrate TPMS as needed.
Wash tires and wheels; test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees and test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service, promote store sales, and use the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers.
Complete work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct.
