About The Position

The Commercial Service Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial cooking (hot-side) kitchen equipment, commercial refrigeration, and/or HVAC equipment. The technician provides repair-status updates to customers and the branch office, communicates parts orders to the branch, completes service calls accurately and promptly, and audits truck stock to ensure required parts are available. The role also maintains the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to Whaley standards and safety practices, and meets on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Three years of experience repairing commercial kitchen cooking equipment, refrigeration, and/or HVAC.
• High school graduate/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive, electrical, installation, or mechanical background.
• Journeyman license and/or CFESA certification.

Responsibilities
