About The Position

The Commercial Service Technician diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial cooking (hot-side) kitchen equipment, commercial refrigeration, and/or HVAC. The technician communicates repair updates to customers and the branch office, coordinates parts orders with the branch, and completes service calls accurately and promptly. The role also includes auditing truck stock, maintaining the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to company standards and safety expectations, and meeting on-call requirements.

Requirements

• Three years of experience repairing commercial kitchen cooking equipment, refrigeration, and/or HVAC.
• High school graduate/GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Automotive, electrical, installation, or mechanical background.
• Journeyman License and/or CFESA certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking (hot-side) kitchen equipment, commercial refrigeration, and/or HVAC.
• Communicate repair status updates to customers and the branch office.
• Communicate parts orders with the branch.
• Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
• Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms in accordance with company standards and safety expectations.
• Meet on-call requirements.
