About The Position

Whaley Foodservice, LLC is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to join their team. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC systems. The technician will communicate repair status and parts orders with customers and the branch office, ensuring service calls are completed accurately and on time. Maintaining the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Whaley standards is also a key responsibility, along with meeting on-call requirements. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
1 Year of applicable experience in at least one skill set: commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC.

Nice To Haves

Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required but would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Properly diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.
Communicates repair status updates with customer and branch office.
Communicate parts order(s) with branch.
Completes service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
Audits truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms consistent with Whaley standards and safety first.
Meet on-call requirements.
