About The Position

The Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic is responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal on various commercial roof systems. The role works with a roofing crew to complete assigned jobs, including tearing off existing gutters and coping cap, installations, and other assigned tasks.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of commercial sheet metal roofing experience.
• Able to regularly lift more than 50 pounds and perform repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
• Able to climb a 40-foot ladder and not be afraid of heights.
• Able to work in heat and sub-zero cold.
• Must work well in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• A valid driver's license is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install sheet metal on various commercial roof systems.
• Work with the roofing crew to complete all aspects of assigned jobs.
• Tear off existing gutters and coping cap.
• Complete installations and other assigned tasks.
