About The Position
Dover Food Retail is hiring a Sheet Metal Worker in Conyers, Georgia. The position is accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions. Work includes installing pieces, parts, or components onto products, assemblies, or subassemblies as they move along the line, handling materials and finished goods, checking output quality, and keeping daily production records. The role is eligible to earn commissions based on performance metrics and other criteria in the applicable commission plan.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly-line machinery and equipment at fixed workstation positions.
- Operate machinery and equipment to install pieces, parts, or components onto an in-process product, assembly, or subassembly as it moves along the line.
- Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
- Monitor output quality and identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
- Maintain accurate daily assembly production records for manufacturing performance analysis.
