Commercial Roofing Service Technician
About The Position
Bone Dry Roofing is hiring a Commercial Roofing Service Technician for a hands-on field service role focused on commercial roofing repairs. The technician performs service calls, repair work, and diagnostic inspections, while providing dependable customer service and representing the company’s commitment to quality and lasting service relationships. The role involves working at commercial properties, estimating materials and labor, communicating directly with customers, and identifying other needed property repairs. The technician may be placed on rotation for after-hours emergency calls.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of commercial roofing experience.
- Ability to perform service tasks at heights.
- Knowledge of low-slope roofing systems.
- Comfort climbing ladders and working at heights.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work two Saturdays per month during peak season.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs for commercial properties according to the scope of work.
- Serve as the main point of contact for commercial business customers during projects.
- Estimate the materials and labor required to complete projects.
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after projects.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls.
- Prepare and collect invoices after jobs are complete.
- Identify other necessary property repairs, such as gutters or windows.
- Follow all safety procedures.
