The Commercial Roofing Service Helper works under the service crew leader to investigate, locate, and repair leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, PVC, TPO, built-up roofing, modified bitumen, and low-slope metal. The role also involves removing and installing commercial roof systems, performing maintenance and repairs, following job specifications and safety guidelines, and interacting professionally with customers. The posting also describes managing a commercial roofing crew, completing required paperwork, attending meetings as needed, and assisting with crew training.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• At least 1 year of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds regularly.
• Must be able to work at varying heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to communicate well with clients, supervisors, and coworkers.
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
• Technology savvy.

Nice To Haves

• A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, locate, and repair leaks and defects in commercial roofing systems.
• Remove and install commercial roof systems, including BUR, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sloped metal systems.
• Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
