Commercial Roofing Laborer (Service Helper)
About The Position
TeamCraft Roofing is hiring a Commercial Roofing Laborer (Service Helper) to support local commercial and industrial roofing repairs and re-roofing projects. The role involves preparing and maintaining roof and work areas, handling materials and tools, and assisting skilled roofers with installation and repairs. Work is intended to be in the local area, offering the advantage of working near home. TeamCraft Roofing is an independent, family-owned and operated company incorporated in 1996, with more than 28 locations across 13 states. New hires undergo background checks, drug tests, and motor vehicle record checks before an offer is extended. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills.

Responsibilities
- Perform general cleanup, sweeping, and debris removal throughout the project.
- Clean the work area and equipment as needed throughout the project.
- Remove snow, water, or debris from roofs before roofing materials are applied.
- Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
- Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for new roofing materials.
- Remove old roofing materials.
- Clear drains and downspouts and clean gutters.
- Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place to move supplies to roofs.
- Assist skilled roofers with installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces.
