Commercial Roofing Laborer (Service Helper)
About The Position
TeamCraft Roofing is hiring a Commercial Roofing Laborer to assist with local commercial and industrial roofing repairs and re-roofing projects. The role involves preparing roofs and work areas, moving materials and equipment, removing old roofing materials, and assisting skilled roofers. Work is intended to be in the local area, and the company highlights opportunities for promotion from within. Pay is $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skills. Medical and dental insurance are available for full-time positions. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleanup, sweep, and remove debris throughout the project.
- Clean the work area and equipment as needed throughout the project.
- Remove snow, water, or debris from roofs before roofing materials are applied.
- Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
- Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for new roofing materials.
- Remove old roofing materials.
- Clear drains and downspouts and clean gutters.
- Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place to transport supplies to roofs.
- Assist skilled roofers with installing and repairing roofs, flashings, and surfaces.
