About The Position

The Commercial Roofing Foreman leads roofing crews and manages commercial roofing projects from start to finish, overseeing installation, removal, replacement, maintenance, and repair of commercial roof systems. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality craftsmanship while following job specifications and safety guidelines, maintaining professional interactions with customers, and coordinating crew activities and project documentation. The position is based in Bennington, Vermont, with local travel up to two hours away. Pay starts at $30 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

3–5 years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
A valid driver's license.
Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
Ability to climb ladders and regularly bend, climb, and kneel.
Ability to lift 50 pounds or more regularly.
Ability to work at varying heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
Must pass pre-employment screening.

Experience with all types of commercial roofing systems is ideal.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial roofing crews and manage projects from start to finish.
Remove and install commercial roof systems, including BUR, modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sloped tile or shingle systems.
Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
Perform work according to job specifications and safety guidelines.
Maintain professional interactions with customers.
Complete required paperwork and attend meetings as needed.
Assist with training crew members as needed.
Track inventory and file daily reports.
