About The Position

The Commercial Roofing Foreman leads roofing crews and is responsible for installing, removing, and replacing commercial roof systems. The foreman manages commercial roofing projects from start to finish and ensures a high level of craftsmanship. The position is in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Pay is based on experience and industry knowledge.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
• A valid driver's license.
• Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
• Ability to climb ladders and regularly bend, climb, and kneel.
• Ability to regularly lift more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at varying heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with all types of commercial roofing systems is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Remove and install roof systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sloped systems such as tile and shingles.
• Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
• Complete work according to job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Interact professionally with customers.
• Manage the commercial roofing crew, complete required paperwork, attend meetings as necessary, and assist with crew-member training as needed.
• Track inventory and file daily reports.
