About The Position
Wolfe Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc., a commercial and industrial roofing contractor based in Berks County, Pennsylvania, is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman in Reading, Pennsylvania. The foreman leads roofing crews and is responsible for installing, removing, and replacing commercial roof systems. The role manages commercial roofing projects from start to finish while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience leading commercial roofing crews.
- Valid driver's license.
- Initiative, integrity, and adaptability.
- Ability to climb ladders and regularly bend, climb, and kneel.
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds regularly.
- Ability to work at varying heights and in a variety of weather conditions.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with all types of commercial roofing systems is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Remove and install roof systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sloped roofing such as tile and shingles.
- Perform roof maintenance and repairs.
- Perform work according to job specifications and safety guidelines.
- Maintain professional interactions with customers.
- Manage the commercial roofing crew, complete required paperwork, attend meetings as needed, and assist with crew-member training as needed.
- Track inventory and file daily reports.
