This is a dynamic, onsite role that combines field inspections, customer interaction, and proposal development. Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 1 year in a service estimating role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up, metal).
- Proficiency in estimating software (Edge preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in a service-focused commercial roofing environment.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds or more and perform physical tasks during roof inspections
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug test and Background Check
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice To Haves
- Use and operation of drones a Plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital proposal tools.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification Preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of commercial roofing systems to identify repair, maintenance, and replacement opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with property managers, facility managers, contractors, and building owners through professional consultation and service.
- Develop accurate and competitive estimates for service repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor re-roofing projects.
- Present recommendations and proposals to customers, helping them understand available solutions and make informed decisions.
- Proactively follow up on estimates and open opportunities to support conversion and revenue growth.
- Partner closely with service technicians and project managers to ensure proposed solutions accurately reflect field conditions and customer needs.
- Manage multiple projects and customer opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize estimating software and CRM tools to prepare proposals, track activity, and maintain customer records.
- Stay informed on commercial roofing systems, industry trends, and best practices to provide expert guidance to customers.
- Ensure all recommendations and estimates align with company safety standards, building codes, and operational requirements.
