About The Position

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, is hiring Commercial Roofers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Commercial Roofers work outdoors as part of a professional roofing crew to install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems. The work includes climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, lifting, and using roofing tools and equipment. Employees receive on-the-job training and may develop their skills and advance as they master commercial roofing fundamentals. Starting pay is $20 per hour and may be higher based on experience. The position offers year-round work.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds and perform repeated bending, climbing, and kneeling.
Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 feet and working at heights.
Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
Strong work ethic and ability to work well with a team.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of commercial roofing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Install and repair commercial roofing systems, including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, tile, and shingles.
Work effectively as part of a roofing crew and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
Follow manufacturer specifications and company procedures.
Maintain a strong focus on job-site safety and quality workmanship.
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including repeated bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.
Safely climb ladders and work at heights on commercial roofs.
