About The Position

The Melanson Company, a Tecta America Company, is hiring an experienced commercial roofer in Bennington, Vermont. The role involves installing and repairing roofs using commercial roofing systems, including built-up roofing (BUR), modified bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC, and sloped roofing such as tile and shingles. Roofers work as part of a team, perform work to manufacturer specifications, and pay close attention to safety. Requirements

At least 3 years of commercial roofing experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license.
Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Able to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
Able to lift more than 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, climb, and kneel.
Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 feet and working on a roof.
