About The Position

Ace Service Co. is seeking experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers, and HVAC units. This role involves responding to emergency service calls, performing preventative maintenance, and delivering outstanding customer service. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining their service vehicle, managing parts orders, completing paperwork, and attending ongoing training. After-hours and weekend on-call shifts are part of the rotation. The company is an integrity-driven organization recognized for service excellence in commercial cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, ware-washing, and ice machine repair and maintenance, serving Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and organized work ethic
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Completion of a successful background check and drug screen
  • Driving record must align with our safety standards

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced technicians may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $12,000.

Responsibilities

  • Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
  • Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
  • Deliver outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
  • Rotate through after-hours and weekend on-call shifts
  • Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
  • Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
  • Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
