About The Position

Northsound Refrigeration is seeking a Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician to perform service and installation work on commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment at customer locations along the I-5 corridor. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and performing preventative maintenance on systems essential to kitchen operations. Technicians respond to service calls, determine effective repair or installation solutions, document completed work and parts used, and communicate with customers and team members to deliver quality service. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, and pays $25–$45 per hour.

Requirements

Certification in HVAC/R or equivalent hands-on experience.
EPA certification.
Department of Labor & Industries 06A License.
Experience working on commercial kitchen appliances.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work alone and/or with others.
Ability to work on ladders and lift over 50 lbs.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license and a driving record that aligns with the company’s safety standards.
Satisfactory background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

Respond to daily service calls to diagnose and resolve refrigeration and HVAC-related issues.
Assess equipment and job scope to determine effective repair or installation solutions.
Perform repairs and installations on commercial refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems and commercial kitchen equipment.
Assist on complex installations and service jobs (entry level).
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Adhere to company safety standards and industry regulations.
