Commercial Paint Estimator

Solid Rock Recruiting•Denver, CO
•Onsite

About The Position

The Commercial Painting Estimator prepares accurate, competitive estimates and detailed bids for commercial painting projects in the Denver market. The role includes reviewing architectural plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements; managing a significant volume of estimates; and coordinating the transition from estimating to awarded work with operations and project management teams. Approximately 30% of the position involves client interaction and business development. The estimator builds and maintains relationships with General Contractors, clients, and project partners; attends pre-bid meetings, jobsite walkthroughs, networking events, and client meetings; and follows up on bids throughout the bidding process. The estimator communicates about scope, pricing, clarifications, exclusions, and potential changes, and identifies opportunities to increase project value through effective client relationships and follow-through. This is an in-office, collaborative position—not a fully remote role. The organization values collaboration, learning, accountability, and a positive attitude, and offers the opportunity to work on major commercial projects throughout the Denver market and surrounding areas.
