The Commercial Loan Officer (CLO) is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing residential and commercial real estate investment loans. This role requires a strong sales mindset, relationship-building skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Sales experience required (real estate, lending, or high-volume outbound sales preferred).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and generating new business.
  • Self-motivated with a competitive, performance-driven mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Real estate investment or lending experience.
  • Background in industries such as roofing, construction sales, or door-to-door sales.
  • Experience managing a pipeline and closing deals.
  • Understanding of real estate financing concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Originate, structure, and close residential and commercial real estate investment loans.
  • Source and develop new business through outbound prospecting and relationship building.
  • Structure and present loan solutions to real estate investors.
  • Manage deals through the full lifecycle from origination to close.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient deal execution.
  • Track activity and performance metrics (calls, opportunities, closings).
  • Develop long-term relationships with borrowers and referral partners.
