About The Position

Kean Miller is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney for its Baton Rouge office. This role involves working closely with partners on all aspects of litigation, including case reporting, electronic discovery, and depositions, through to trial preparation. The associate will manage a caseload independently, handle court appearances and depositions, utilize electronic discovery platforms like Relativity, lead client communication, and provide regular case updates. The position requires excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills, with an ability to interact directly with clients and foster client/referral relationships. A track record of high achievement, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and teamwork skills are essential. The candidate must be in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.

Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years’ commercial litigation experience
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong research, writing, communication, and advocacy skills
• Ability and desire to interact directly with Kean Miller’s clients
• Ability to further develop client and referral relationships
• Experience with electronic discovery platforms such as Relativity
• Track record of high achievement in law school
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
