About The Position

WeirFoulds LLP is seeking an associate lawyer to join our thriving Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The successful candidate will work with our team of commercial litigators on a variety of challenging, sophisticated, and complex litigation cases, representing a broad range of clients. This role will have a particular focus on litigating matters related to blockchain technologies, cryptocurrencies and other digital assets. This is a new role. As such, it is essential for applicants to be self-starters, dedicated to entrepreneurialism including client service, client development and the building and strengthening of client relationships. Requirements

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience working on complex litigation files
• Strong technical, legal, research, drafting, and organization skills
• Demonstrated strengths in entrepreneurialism including client service, client relationships and client development
• Ability to work with lawyers at all levels and be a team player
• Ability to balance competing demands as well as be self-motivated, innovative and flexible
• Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence
• Excellent academic credentials

Nice To Haves

• Experience with (or an interest in) fraud and cryptocurrency litigation files

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of commercial litigators on a variety of challenging, sophisticated, and complex litigation cases.

• Manage document intensive files.
