Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in commercial insurance or customer service roles strongly preferred
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license or willingness to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with agency management systems or CRM platforms
• Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling client accounts
• A proactive, positive attitude with a genuine commitment to exceptional customer service
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also capable of managing individual responsibilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or higher in related fields is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for commercial clients, handling inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and efficiency.
• Process policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate policy information to clients and explain coverage, exclusions, and other important policy details in a clear, understandable way.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to resolve client issues and ensure timely processing of requests.
• Handle billing questions, payment processing, and account reconciliations for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date client records by entering and updating information in agency management systems.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Stay current with industry trends, insurance products, and policy updates to better serve clients.
