About The Position

Kickstart your career in engineering with Watts Water Technologies! Our three-year Commercial Leadership Rotational Program is designed for ambitious, high-potential graduates eager to make an impact from day one. This rotational program is designed to develop the next generation of engineering and product leaders. During the program, you’ll complete three 12-month rotations in either; Project Management, Product Management, Segment Sales Development or Applications Engineering. Each rotation will expose you to a different stage of the product lifecycle. You’ll gain experience in product design, manufacturing, product strategy, and customer applications. You’ll contribute to meaningful business initiatives and learn from experienced leaders. You’ll also work with cross-functional teams across the company. Through these experiences, you’ll strengthen your technical expertise and commercial understanding. You’ll also develop the leadership skills needed to grow your career at Watts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Graduation date of May 2027
Proven interest in leadership development and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire and commitment to grow into future leadership positions.
Strong technical foundation with demonstrated technical acumen and problem-solving ability.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and in team environments.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Build knowledge of key market segments, customer needs, and industry trends through market research and customer engagement activities.
Support sales growth initiatives by analyzing market opportunities, identifying target accounts, and developing customer outreach strategies.
Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams to support customer acquisition, retention, and business development efforts.
Assist in evaluating sales performance, market share, and competitive positioning to identify opportunities for growth.
Participate in customer visits, industry events, and sales training to strengthen commercial acumen and customer relationship management skills.
Support the planning, execution, and tracking of cross-functional projects to ensure milestones, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Sales teams to coordinate project activities and drive alignment across stakeholders.
Assist in developing project schedules, status reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to support successful project outcomes.
Analyze project performance data and key metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
Participate in project review meetings, customer-facing initiatives, and strategic planning activities to strengthen leadership, communication, and business acumen.
Build product knowledge through training and portfolio management activities.
Support customer engagement, market research, and competitive analysis.
Help coordinate projects across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other functional teams.
Conduct financial and commercial analysis, including pricing and profitability evaluations.
Contribute to product strategy, roadmap development, and business case preparation.
Support the development of customer solutions and technical quotations.
Participate in customer visits and field experiences alongside Sales and Engineering teams.
Translate customer insights into product solutions and potential business opportunities.
Partner with Sales to support customer engagement and technical product positioning.
Help develop and deliver training for customers and manufacturer representatives, including Level 1 training programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Operations.
Analyze technical data and customer feedback to support decision-making.
Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products, processes, and the customer experience.
Contribute to additional projects that support your professional development and broader business objectives.
