About The Position

Kickstart your career in engineering with Watts Water Technologies! Our three-year Commercial Leadership Rotational Program is designed for ambitious, high-potential graduates eager to make an impact from day one. This rotational program is designed to develop the next generation of engineering and product leaders. During the program, you’ll complete three 12-month rotations: Engineering, Product Management, and Applications Engineering. Each rotation will expose you to a different stage of the product lifecycle. You’ll gain experience in product design, manufacturing, product strategy, and customer applications. You’ll contribute to meaningful business initiatives and learn from experienced leaders. You’ll also work with cross-functional teams across the company. Through these experiences, you’ll strengthen your technical expertise and commercial understanding. You’ll also develop the leadership skills needed to grow your career at Watts. This role is hybrid, and is based at our headquarters in North Andover, MA

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Graduation date of May 2027
Proven interest in leadership development and intellectual curiosity with a strong desire and commitment to grow into future leadership positions
Strong technical foundation with demonstrated technical acumen and problem-solving ability
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and in team environments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical and business data
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and identify areas for improvement
Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and accountability
Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete all required pre-employment screenings

Responsibilities

Support the development of customer solutions and technical quotations
Participate in customer visits and field experiences alongside Sales and Engineering teams
Translate customer insights into product solutions and potential business opportunities
Partner with Sales to support customer engagement and technical product positioning
Help develop and deliver training for customers and manufacturer representatives, including Level 1 training programs
Gain practical experience in factory and manufacturing environments while supporting sustaining engineering initiatives
Contribute to New Product Development (NPD) projects in collaboration with Research and Development teams
Partner with technical support teams to gather and analyze Voice of Customer (VOC) insights.
Develop knowledge of product design, engineering systems, and technical problem-solving
Build product knowledge through training and portfolio management activities
Support customer field engagement and market research efforts
Help coordinate projects across Engineering, Sales, Operations, and other functional teams
Conduct financial and commercial analysis, including pricing and profitability support
Contribute to product strategy, roadmap development, and business case evaluation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Operations
Analyze technical data and customer feedback to support decision-making
Communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations clearly and effectively
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in products, processes, and customer experience
Contribute to additional projects that support your professional development and broader business objectives
