About The Position
Advanced Fryer Solutions (AFS) is seeking dependable and motivated Commercial Kitchen Service Technicians to join their growing Pittsburgh-area team. This field-based position involves servicing restaurants, universities, healthcare facilities, entertainment venues, and other commercial kitchens throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. Technicians will perform fryer oil management, oil filtration, and preventative maintenance services to ensure customers operate cleaner, safer, and more efficiently. No prior industry experience is required, as AFS provides paid training and necessary tools.
Requirements
- Must live in the Greater Pittsburgh area
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Willing to work early morning schedules
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile applications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 45 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided service vehicle to customer locations
- Service commercial kitchen fryers and oil management systems
- Perform fryer oil filtration and preventative fryer maintenance
- Safely remove and transport used cooking oil
- Operate specialized filtration and cleaning equipment
- Complete service documentation using company mobile applications
- Build positive relationships with customers
- Follow all company safety standards and procedures
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a clean, organized condition
