Commercial Kitchen Service Technician | $20.75/hr + Monthly Bonus + Company Vehicle | Start in August!
About The Position
Advanced Fryer Solutions is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to join our Akron team. This is a route-based position where you'll drive a company service vehicle to restaurants, universities, healthcare facilities, and other commercial kitchens throughout the Akron area. You'll help customers save money, improve food quality, and extend the life of their equipment through professional fryer oil filtration and maintenance services. If you enjoy working independently, staying active, solving problems, and building relationships with clients, we'd love to meet you.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently throughout the day
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work early morning shifts when needed
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 45 pounds
- Desire to build a long-term career with a growing company
Nice To Haves
- Previous route service, delivery, maintenance, restaurant, or technician experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided service vehicle on an established route
- Service commercial kitchen fryers and oil management systems
- Filter cooking oil and perform preventative fryer maintenance
- Safely remove and transport used cooking oil
- Complete service documentation using company mobile applications
- Build positive relationships with restaurant staff and customers
- Follow all company safety procedures and operating standards
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area
- Represent Filta professionally at every customer location
