About The Position

A well-known insurance agency is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager with clear knowledge and understanding of commercial lines coverages. The role involves working with admitted and non-admitted carriers and managing an established book of business, including mid- and large-market accounts. This hybrid position is based in Alpharetta, Georgia, with the ability to visit clients and collaborate with the team in the office. Requirements

Active Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
At least 5 years of account management experience.
Above-average computer skills and the ability to become proficient in required programs.
At least one professional designation, such as CIC or CPCU, or comparable job experience.
Knowledge and understanding of commercial lines insurance coverages, including work with admitted and non-admitted carriers.
Experience managing mid- and large-market accounts and working with various insurance products.
Experience in a client-facing role.

Responsibilities

Manage a large, established book of business.
Handle new and renewal submissions.
Review insurance contracts for inaccuracies.
Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
Prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
Check policy coverage and endorsements on new business and renewals.
Work independently or as part of a team.
Be directly responsible for retaining all accounts assigned to the team.
Use problem-solving techniques to address cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, receivables, and carrier issues.
Maintain client relationships and work with clients in a client-facing role.
