About The Position

CENTRYX Mechanical Solutions is hiring Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanics to serve commercial clients throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the DC area. The company was formed by combining CBW Mechanical, Commercial Express HVAC, and Tolin MidAtlantic, bringing more than 120 years of combined experience and resources. The role is suited to experienced mechanics who take pride in their craft, enjoy leading projects, and want opportunities to learn, grow, and build a career.

The mechanic will lead and perform commercial HVAC installation projects, install and upgrade equipment, interpret technical plans, resolve installation issues, collaborate with colleagues and customers, and complete work safely in accordance with applicable codes and industry standards. CENTRYX describes its environment as team-oriented, with opportunities to take on larger installations, progress into foreman or project roles, and develop technical skills.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Installation Mechanic.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves

• EPA 608 certification.
• State mechanic or journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform commercial HVAC installation projects.
• Install, replace, and upgrade commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and deliver high-quality workmanship.
• Work closely with team members, project managers, and customers.
• Complete work safely and in line with codes and industry standards.
