About The Position

We are hiring a Financial Analyst supporting commercial FP&A, revenue analytics, and financial systems of Hologic! This role involves consolidating commercial department expenses, headcount, and capital spending reports, performing department cost analysis, and providing commentary. The analyst will coordinate FP&A activities with the finance team and operations leaders, support cost center expense review, analysis, and research, and assist with quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting. The position also involves improving financial status by analyzing expenses, identifying trends, and giving recommendations, reconciling transactions, and managing month-end close activities for department cost re-classes and accruals. Additionally, the role requires implementing structures to support business needs. In revenue analytics, the analyst is responsible for month-end closing activities related to revenue performance for the Diagnostics division, modeling and presenting findings to leadership regarding key activities that generated financial outcomes, and preparing required month-end journal entries. The role also includes working on special projects as required. For financial system support, the focus will be on Hyperion Planning/SmartView, financial databases (QlikSense, Power BI), and Oracle.

Requirements

Completed Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field
2+ years of experience in FP&A or Cost Accounting Environment
Strong business acumen
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to complete multiple priorities within tight deadlines
Ability to interface with all levels of management
Understanding of Oracle ERP systems and Hyperion
Understanding of accounting in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of US GAAP
Advanced worksheet manipulation skills

Nice To Haves

Understanding and experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) highly desired

Responsibilities
