About The Position

Long® Fence, an industry leader for over 80 years, is seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator/Project Manager to join its team in Chantilly, Virginia. This full-time, exempt position is office-based, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation is base salary plus commission, with a stated range of $70,000 to $150,000 per year; compensation above the base is based on sales and is not guaranteed.

The role involves reviewing project scopes of work, accessing building plans and specifications, compiling costs, preparing proposals, communicating with clients throughout the bid process, and using Salesforce for all aspects of projects. Candidates must be able to commute to the office daily and work at a desktop computer.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience, or an equivalent combination of work experience or education.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to commute to the office daily.
• Ability to work at a desktop computer.
• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes marijuana.
