About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and automotive parts solutions in an essential retail industry. The Commercial Driver delivers automotive parts to commercial customers using company-provided vehicles; no Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required. The role also supports store operations by assisting customers, coordinating with store personnel and commercial accounts, and handling product returns and pickups. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
A valid Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement.

Responsibilities

Deliver WOW! Customer Service to commercial customers and DIY shoppers, providing clear and professional automotive advice and offering installation services.
Work with store personnel and commercial accounts to support team collaboration and customer relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations and meet time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company-provided vehicles to deliver automotive parts safely and on time to commercial customers.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Follow personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely and in accordance with company policies.
Stay informed about promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems.
Maintain delivery vehicles and promptly report any issues.
